Mac would have to be my favourite brand of lipsticks, with its' incredibly large range of all different shades and finishes, there is always something to suit the occasion. I've seemed to have collected quite a few and am still always on the lookout for new ones.
There are so many makeup brush brands to choose from, it can be hard to know which are good quality and worth getting. They can vary in price from just a few dollars to even hundreds per brush. I've acquired a collection of a few different brands that I trust including Zoeva, Sigma, Real Techniques and Elf. These are my favourite brushes that I tend to use everyday, that all have their own purpose. I keep all my brushes on my vanity for easy access and so I can see all the ones I have. I find it much easier to separate them into eye and face brushes as the smaller ones can tend to get lost between the larger brushes. I got these holders from IKEA and they are the perfect size and look really cute.
2016 was a big year, the highs were high and the lows were low, pretty much all the feels for me. Beauty wise, it was great! So many product releases and new favourites that I have acquired, along with some trusty favourites that I've stayed loyal to for quite a while. These are all my ultimate makeup must haves of the year.

- I have an extreme obsession with the tv show Friends. I got the dvd box set for Christmas a few years ago and I've watched every episode at least 10 times. I can quote any part of it. My favourite characters are Chandler and Rachel
- You know how some people crack their knuckles? I crack everything. My wrists, neck, back, ankles, anything I can and I don't care if people look at me disgusted, I'll do it
- I'm the fussiest eater ever and I hate it. I don't like any vegetables besides potato, I will eat lettuce and carrot, but only on specific Subways, the only fruit I eat are apples, bananas and avocado. I don't like any type of sauce, I don't even like soft drinks or coffee
- I'm such a perfectionist, I hate if things aren't straight or in line. Mess makes me stressed, I don't like having things out of place or large piles of things thrown together. Having my room clean and bed made makes me happy
- I always play music in the shower, it just makes it more fun and it's a good way to measure the time you've been in there for
Have you ever seen anything more beautiful?! The glamorous gold and sparkling packaging of the new MAC Mariah Carey collection is just too dreamy too resist. At least for me, the second I saw it online, I was counting down the days until the release. I had to get just a few things. Tempted also by the stunning eyeshadow quads and the coral blush, I decided to limit myself to just a lipstick and lip liner, which I am happy with both. I must say though, I was definitely swayed mostly by the pretty packaging, but I will no doubt, be getting wear out of them, fearing the day the limited edition products come to an end.
Slowly overtime I have built up this collection, most of the perfumes have been gifts, however I have also bought a few of them myself. I like being able to choose a different scent for different occasions or depending on how I feel that day. There are some that I consider for more every day wear and others for special events or days. To me, the bottle is almost as important as the scent itself because I like to display them. I keep them stored in this beautiful mirrored tray, that I purchased from a store called Gifts For You. Behind the perfumes, I stand all the Victoria's Secret Body Mists on top of empty candle boxes, so they can all be seen. (Candles shown: Bath & Body Works: Buttercream Icing & Pumpkin Pecan Waffles)
